They hit Reina Luisa yesterday

Reina Luisa is the mother of the deseased Orlando Zapata, beaten repeteadly while been on a hunger strike. Every Sunday she is harrased by the Castro mobs as she attemps to leave her house to attend a mass service before visiting he son's tomb. This has been going on since his death March, because he was a humble black mason whose only crime was not to shut up before the injustices of the Cuban regime, at first because the government -being the only employer of the nation-would not pay what promised, then gradually about the violation of the human rights with detainees at police headquarters an in prisons- being beaten, harrased, spat and humilliated. Like the heroes of novels, they abuse him and the harder they slapped him -while handcuffed-the louder he shouted.
He soon became a symbol of martyrdom-their own acts made him be. The hell Reina raised as they tried to have him buried far away from her home, and her threat that only over her dead body resulted in a military motorcade , supossedly to prevent riots, but eventually becoming a procession escorting the martyr. All this put the spotlight of the regime's hatred upon her, as they do too even more when the protestors are black. Blacks complaining are a shame to the image of the Tyrant and consecuently they have been systematically denied permission to leave the country even when they have visas granted or family outside.
Last night Reina and several of the Damas de Blanco (Ladies in White) who stay by her were physically assaulted. However she was allowed to visit the cemetery and the church without problems.
I wonder if they are choosing already another mother who attack, now that new hunger-striker Coco Fariñas's health condition was reported today to have been worsened dramatically.
